Ronald Rand's "Art of Transformation" Master Acting Workshop
Ronald Rand's "ART OF TRANSFORMATION" Master Workshop, is the only workshop in the world bringing to participants the unique opportunity of learning the 40 tools on Stanislavsky's acting chart, "The Method of Physical Actions." Together we explore through improvisation, poetry, and physical exercises, ways to unleash creativity, dealing with the "inner critic," bringing greater insight towards characterization, simplicity, revealing one's authentic voice - leading to successful auditions and truthful characterizations. The acting workshop is useful for those with experience or beginners. The great Russian Master teacher and director, Stanislavsky developed his "Method of Physical Actions" chart after 40 years of experimentation. He gave this chart personally to Stella Adler when he worked with her in 1934 in Paris. She is the only American teacher to have studied with Stanislavsky for five weeks. She brought the chart back to The Group Theatre. Ronald Rand was taught by Stella Adler for over 5 years, and his mentors include Harold Clurman, Jerzy Grotowski, Joseph Chaikin and Bobby Lewis.
