Lisa L. Abbott is a Professor at Georgia Southern University. She earned her MFA in Directing at the University of Portland and has worked as a director, Equity Stage manger and producer throughout the United States.  Prior to coming to Georgia Southern she was the Co-Artistic director of Pavement Productions in Portland, Oregon. As a director she enjoys exploring text through movement and the development of new plays. She is serving her second year as the Vice Chair of KCATF Region IV and loving all of it.
