Grechen Lynne Wingerter (Region IV Irene Ryans Coordinator) is Professor of Theatre at Pellissippi State Community College. She has directed and stage managed for such theaters as Sandusky State Repertory Theatre, Idaho Repertory Theatre, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, First Stage Milwaukee, Lifeline Theatre, and Circle X Theatre Company. In 2015, she received the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Region 2 Gold Medallion Award and in 2009, was a recipient of a KCACTF National Teaching Artist Grant. Grechen is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), and an RYT 200 certified yoga instructor. Grechen received her MFA in Directing from the University of Idaho, her M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois, and her B.A. in Acting from Illinois State University. Grechen is the proud mom of two daughters – Megan, Chelsea, two dogs – Jake & Alex, and two cats -- Tipper & Bug.
