A conversation on the cultural responsibilty of Costume Designers in an ever growing global society. Within the workshop we will discuss:

-Our own cultural backgrounds and how that can inform our work.
-Methods of research/incorporation/expression of design outside of our immediate cultural experience.
-The line between inspiration and appropriation.
-The intersections of cultures and how that can embolden and elevate a design.
