This Intimacy by Design workshop develops languaging and rehearsal and performance methods to stage authentic and safe interactions and physical contact responsibly and respectfully. When the context of the play is seen in light of contemporary theatrical standards, directors, stage managers, and actors can co-create moment-to-moment relationships in a replicable manner. By choreographing the details like dance or fight choreography, authentic interactions comes into focus through professional storytelling.
